As always here at HH, we do not always dwell on just the winners or top qualifiers. So it is we begin our Boise race coverage with a number of images captured by our Canon GL-1 video camera. They include the neatest images we got on day one of the 2000 Federal Mogul Div. 6 season opener in no particular order.


Mac McCord's AA/FA Gorilla driven by Ben Harper made a 'no shift, one gear only' run to the tune of 6.03/202 loosing the blower bigtime in the eyes.


Chris Peterson from Billings Montana was number one qualifier in Pro Sportsman Bike with a .403 on his '82 Suzuki 1500.


Victoria's Lloyd Malovec suffered this expensive explosion in the burnout box.


John Edwards of Claremont California took his beautiful '96 Avenger to the 4th spot in Comp with a -0.555 8.55.


Banging heads with Jim Warter for the umpteenth time, Bruce Perkin brought the Perkin Bros. B/SM '87 Trans Am south from Maple Ridge BC to qualify 5th at a -0.534 9.06.


Didn't get the name of the driver of the American Challenger FMD, but his first qualifier was not fun.


Dale Carlson ran very well here, but not quite as well as Hentges and Santos.
