Gord merkley was 13th in SS/F '66 Chevelle with a 9.982 (-0.668).


Best Wheelstands of day were handed out by Lacombe, Alberta's Tom Nolan in his SS/HA '67 Camaro. Qualified Friday in 5th spot at 10.120 (-0.780).


Then again Don Thomas (left) and Dave Wren weren't too shabby either.


He didn't get the record, bu Randy Hutchings was atop the Stock list after first day with a 12.138 -1.412 in ET/SA '81 Dodge.


Followed closely by Cal Queahpama from Portland, Ore. in T/SA '65 Chevy wagon with a 13.459 (-1.341).


Looking very good in sophmore year of Stock is Jackie Alley.

Bruce Flodin had truck in the elevens on Saturday, but was third after Friday with 12.065 (-1.285).


Nick Alley.


Chelsea Towner took over sister Shawn's K/SA '85 Camaro for weekend and was 6th after a 11.829 (-1.121).


Gotta love Rob Youngblood's D stick '71 Mustang from Nampa, Idaho. Ran 10.698 (-1.102) good for 8th spot Friday.
