Mission FMDRS complete round-by-round and qualifying session results are here

Rememeber that roadster? Later in the day the tree started blowing fuses...lots of them. More downtime. Note the 'In Memory of Don Stephenson' on the base.

John Knox was here in Froggy 3. Managed a 6.77/206.23.

After this run, his first at Mission, Larry Minor was reported to have said it was the smoothest track he had ever been down. He would 4th qualify with a 5.78/249.

Dan McGlone was here with a smaller motor than the one that pushed him to the number one spot in Boise a few weeks ago, and still pulled out a great 5.82/245 qualifying number.

The gorgeous Firebird of Orange California's Pete Swayne went on to win this event.

The Burger Car was left in the lanes for quite awhile as the rains came once more shutting us off for the day.

Nice view leaving the track, under the bridge. Sure that's the sun, but it the rain would last a good while here yet.

Bob McBride and one other person were out directing traffic in the downpour.
