Dale Carlson fought his MRP gremlins all weekend despite a nice 5.55/256.77 qualifying effort.

Federlin launched nice here beside McLargue...

...but it was Gary O Jr. who had the prettiest launch of the day with this one.

"I thought it was never gonna come down" he said later.

Roger Bateman's driving skills and Bob Reynold's horsepower were not enough for all the big cars he had to face here.

Even Bucky's low 5.70s could not cope with Swayn's .60s and Pat's .50s.
