The Austin crew poses for another trophy picture.

Pat was out on Gasparrelli (.460 to a .589) and never looked back as the California car began to haze the tires just after this photo.

We all await to see how the big red Pro-Max car does in a couple of weeks at the Northwest Nationals.

Gassparelli defeated the only Canadian Federal-Mogul car here in round one with a 5.90/232 pass over Mike Giuliani who went 6.12/231.54.

The cool Prisms Unlimited car of the runner-up.

This round one race was won by Bucky Austin's (near lane) 5.94/240 run over John Hyland's 6.37/192.84.

Bucky was filling his car with smoke all weekend long with some terrific burnouts!

Here is his second round 6.26/183 loss to Gasparrelli's 6.00/239.48. Notice the Hitter is driving through some bad shake. (see tracks on pavement).

Mitch Myers made the show in the number seven position with a nice 6.01/215.77, then had the luck to run Pat Austin in round one.

It was great to see the Parker Milk team make a comeback here, but it was even more fun to be at the top end when Clint Thompson won this first round matchup - his first ever FMDRS round victory! It was a great race with Clint running .510/5.97/227.44 to Russ' .522/5.98/227.44.
