The quickest and fastest run in Woodburn history came in the semi finals of FMD when Duane Shields got by the 5.55/254 of Brian Hough.

Larry Miner had a big boomer beside a squirrly Bucky Austin in one semi. The Woodbridge CA driver blew it all up right in the lights resulting in massive bottom end damage, a junked blower, and extensive body damage. He was unable to make repairs for the final.

In the other FMFC semi John Hyland's throttle stuck and he was unable to pull the chutes. He went but a car length off the end later saying "I knew I had good brakes".

The hero of the day, Tom Derosa from theOakwood team gave the entire winning amount (over $1500) back to Brittany King for her medical bill. If you ever see this guy around the Santos pit shake his hand!

Chelsea Towner cheers sister Shawn's quarter final Stock win over Gary Faul.
