The tenth qualifier was Denver Schutz at 6.167 224.04, who got a stroke of luck in round one when it was ruled McDaniel hit a cone. He then took a close one over Tim Gibson in round two with a .502/6.190/229.59 to Gibson's .526/6.180/238.53. Unfortunately mechanical woes ended his day there giving eventual winner Jack Harris a route to the final.
