Everything appears fine approaching the 300ft mark
Not the two centerline cones that mark the 18th mile and Wagner is close to the wall
Without warning the tail slides right
He attempts to correct
But it comes around the other way
And begins to climb up on it's side
He contacts the wall roof first at well over 100 mph
Then flips over
Completely upside down
slides
and tumbles
this is looking at the roof, the car facing left
Now the rear, the car facing down track at a 45 degree angle tires on the lower right
a near full rear view almost back upright
Now on the tires and beginning a turn to the left
The chute comes out
as the car appears to accelerate
Note safety crew already in motion. This no more than a few seconds after the initial impact
Contacting the wall hard, the rear slicks a foot off the ground
And comes to rest
Amazingly the door opens
and Dallas Wagner climbs out as the safety crew arrives.
