Off the jet and into the renter we arrived at the track late afternoon
to catch the pros running under the lights and a few other diddies including
some amazing stocker wheelstands pics from Rich Carlson.
Thursday
October 30, 2003
Day one of the biggest sportsman race in the United States began amid
a wind and dust storm. Despite a late start at about 11:00 a.m. we got
some cool stuff in Stock, SS, Comp and Top Comp. Three pages of pics.

With the call to lanes for the Stockers at 6:40 a.m. we knew it would
be along day, so we've laid eight full pages of damn near everything
on ya. No tricks, all treats!

We got way too early to make it for first round of Super Stock at 7:
00 a.m. But when the Cuda is going for the record the thought of a late
one over at the dirt track was much easier to take...hey it is Vegas
right?

Unfortunately we forgot bring our round sheets home so while the detail
will be scarce, we hope the multitude of images will make up for it.
